Millbrook 2020 Single Vineyard Chardonnay
One of the more complex chardonnays yet from Millbrook. So much happening. Aromas of gunsmoke, lemon curd and brioche, while the palate is a tightly coiled thing with deep, inner flavours of lime and pink grapefruit and a trace of tart quince paste. Very long and focused palate structure ad a powerful lingering finish.94 Points
Millbrook 2019 Limited Release Chardonnay
A slightly less intense year than both 2018 and 2020, but instead you have a delightfully delicate and refined chardonnay displaying so much that's to like. Light roasted cashew and grapefruit with nectarine notes on the nose. The palate shows that slight struck-match complexity cutting through the fleshier nectarine and spicy peach. A lovely wine. 94 Points
Millbrook 2020 Estate Viognier
Shows the greater restraint that has become the norm for this variety, resulting in friendlier wines that lose nothing in the essential varietal characters. Jasmine and ginger with a typical orange blossom perfume. The palate is tight and leaner, but there is a deep concentration of minerally stone fruit with a splash of citrus.92 Points
Highly floral perfume aromas lead into juicy, bright red berry-dominated palate. Lively and high energy with a spicy, dried herb lift carrying it through to a long finish. The palate is plush and supple with a rich, textured feel. Lip smacking finish. 91 Points
Millbrook 2020 Regional Tempranillo
You want a ready-to-drink, thoroughly gluggable tempranillo? Well, here's your thing. Plush, generous and fruit-driven, displaying cherry and plum flavours and a dollop of chocolate richness. A little spicy influence and a dry, savoury, slightly dusty finish. Nice wine for the short term. 91 Points
Millbrook 2019 Single Vineyard Shiraz
A smooth and quite suave medium-bodied shiraz that captures so much of the '19 vintage to tell effect. It's only impacted by a dab of oak, so the fruit expresses all of its qualities with a meaty underlay and notes of spices, cracked black pepper and deeper tones of plum. 91 Points
