New Release: 2014 Estate Cabernets

The inaugural release of Millbrook's Estate 'Cabernets' arrives as a classic Australian tongue-in-cheek homage to the great wines of Bordeaux. Despite being 'right bank' in style (and therefore containing a large portion of Merlot), the wine has been called 'Cabernets' to represent the style more than the varieties contained within.

100% handpicked between February and March 2014, the individual parcels of fruit were vinified and aged separately before the final blend was assembled just prior to bottling. 

A vibrant, crimson wine with ripe violet and cherry aromas, this medium-to-full bodied wine has great length and will develop over the medium term in the cellar.
