Millbrook Winery x Eagle Bay Brewing x Besk

A collaboration between Millbrook Winery, Eagle Bay Brewing and West Leederville favourite Besk, will be launched this Saturday 31 July with an epic all-day party at Besk – aptly named ‘Besk Friends’.

Besk Friends is a celebration of people, produce and longstanding friendships, as Besk founder / co-owner Elliot Moore explains: “Besk Mates is about bringing good people together and having the venue to host them. It’s super exciting for people from Perth to have the Millbrook experience in the city.”

Millbrook Winery Executive Chef Guy Jeffreys and Head Chef Jamie Hembrow are taking over the Besk kitchen serving up a menu featuring produce from Millbrook’s vegetable garden.

Eagle Bay Brewing Co will be taking over ten taps at Besk for the event, including the three new exclusive Eagle Bay beers – Besk Mates collaboration beers.

Millbrook Winery Executive Chef Guy Jeffreys said: “We don’t buy fruit or veg for the restaurant. All of our fruit and veg is grown at Millbrook. I went into Eagle Bay with a couple of things I thought that we could spare, and they said, 'let’s do three beers'!

“All the work is done in the garden, we just let nature’s flavour shine. People talk about fine dining, but Millbrook is just country food done at a high level, and that’s what you expect at Besk as well.

“I’m most excited about the Eagle Bay ocean water and Millbrook pickle juice beer!”
